  • 200g dark chocolate, broken into squares
  • 200ml double cream
  • 15g butter
  • 200ml fresh vanilla custard
  • 100ml dulce de leche or toffee sauce
  • Arden & Amici Cantuccini and Arden & Amici Soft Amaretti and fresh fruit such as mango, melon, strawberries and cherries to serve



Place the chocolate and cream in a heatproof bowl and set over a pan of barely simmering water, making sure the water doesn't touch the base of the bowl. Heat gently, stirring occasionally until the chocolate melts. Alternatively heat in the microwave on HIGH 100% for 1-2 mins.

Remove from the heat and stir in the butter until smooth and glossy then spoon into a serving bowl.

Spoon the custard and the dulce de leche or toffee sauce into separate serving bowls.

Arrange the cantuccini and soft amaretti with the fruit on serving platters with the sweet sauces for dipping.
