A&A Millefoglie no packaging

Say ‘bonjourno’ to our wonderful new home baking help, now on sale in Tesco!

Millefoglie (pronounced “Meel/leh Fohl/yeh) is the Italian version of the French pastry mille-feuille (meaning “thousands leaves”). Traditionally these are layered with cream or Mascarpone and topped with fruit and dusted with icing sugar for desserts, celebrations or high tea.

We have carefully packaged three sheets of deliciously buttery puff pastry in a tray, doing the all hard work for you while you get busy with your own creations.

In Italy, Millefoglie is reserved for traditional celebrations (sometimes weddings) and you might want to reserve them for those special occasions as well – but we think they are so easy to use you might just want to build them into your weekly treats.

To kick you off with some ideas we found these beauties on the BBC Good Food website: Paul Hollywood goes the full-on pastry baking Monty in this Raspberry flavoured recipe where you do everything but make the actual pastry and in this lovely Blueberry and Lemon recipe  Lorraine Pascale shows us how to assemble our Millefoglie – Now that’s our idea of baking!

We know you are going to love the easy simplicity of these clever little sheets of sugared puff pastry and we can’t wait to hear what you think! Comment on our Facebook page facebook.com/ardenandamici or Twitter page @ardenandamici and upload the photos of the finished result. We’ll send prizes to the best ones!
